I definitely met my reading goal for 2020.
I set out with the goal of one a month.
I am finishing the year off with 39 of my goal of 12 for the year.
What’s crazy is this is definitely too much. Reading wears my brain out so hard. You don’t realize that everything you do goes through your brain.
So I have been setting a 30 minute limit a day.
I have 4 books I’m currently remembering. I don’t remember what read very well anyways and I enjoy having four to choose from. One is race related, one a sober memoir or sobriety book, a personal development and then a non fiction of some sort.
The things I never took time for when I drank, then I did after I stopped drinking but never could sit long enough and now I’m exhausted and home all the time so I can most definitely read for 30 min a day. I can read all day too, but I always regret it. It puts me down for days.
It’s also amazing when I limited my social media how much more time You have. I try to not fill my mind with crap, it has enough problems on its own.
