Grandma Eileen

Happy 99th birthday to her today. She would have been 99 today, but left this world on Monday to go be with her late husband Ralph that she has wished to be with for SO many years.

We just saw her last weekend and had a great visit with her. I learned so much about her travels all around the world and yearly vacations to Hawaii for an extended time. When we asked how she was, she always said she would be better if she was with Ralph.

It was so neat to learn about her love for travel, Portugal and Spain are two of her favorites she has traveled too. They are both on my list but we will definitely make them happen in the next couple of years and go in her honor.

I’m so lucky to have met Eileen through my husband and so grateful to have had her in my life❤️

Rest In Peace Eileen, I know you are so happy to be reunited with Ralph and Happy 99th birthday, I know you finally got what you wanted which was to be with the love of your life again.

RIP Eileen
I LOVE this picture of grandma at our wedding 🧡❤️

I am a TBI Survivor and woman who has been through a lot of good and bad. My goal by this blog is to share what I have learned and how life has happened for me and not to me. I have found purpose in it all and am here to share it. I am also sober and quitting drinking was the best choice for me. I will post about TBI, Brain Injury, life, travel, lessons learned and more. I am not a doctor or a nurse, I am a traumatic brain injury survivor who has lived 40 years of life and have an amazing mindset from it all. None of this is medical advice, that is what your doctor is for or 911 if you are having an true emergency and need help right away. I am here for community and to share all I have learned, you never know who it will help. Click on the white title of the blog post to read, just saying in case you might be confused like I am with all this 🤣
