Tomorrow’s The Day- Moab Stand Up Paddle Boarding Trip

A funny thing happened when I packed my duffel, the straps were not long enough to carry it and I was so annoyed. Come to find out thanks to my husband, he’s like Jess it’s meant to be worn like a backpack! I added pics because it’s hilarious and I blame 🧠 injury on that one! I am not an idiot but sometimes I do silly things and don’t understand thanks to my brain 🧠.

But as I am in the Denver airport waiting for my Moab flight the girl next to me has the same bag and come to find out it can be worn and used both ways 🤣

My bag all packed with sleeping bag, tent, clothes and all I will need. Weighs maybe 20-25 pounds.
Wearing my duffel pack! So much easier haha
Looked it up online and dang he’s right and I didn’t even notice or get it but I am stoked now!

Tomorrow at 6 am I leave for Moab. I have two nights in a hotel to rest. And Thursday we head out on the river paddle boarding and doing overnight camping trips along the way. I am so nervous and excited all in one. I will write each day so I remember what I did and how it was and blog about it once back in service:) If I’m being honest, I’m most worried about the heat haha but thankfully we will be on the water and I have lots of sun protection ☀️.

I am a TBI Survivor and woman who has been through a lot of good and bad. My goal by this blog is to share what I have learned and how life has happened for me and not to me. I have found purpose in it all and am here to share it. I am also sober and quitting drinking was the best choice for me. I will post about TBI, Brain Injury, life, travel, lessons learned and more. I am not a doctor or a nurse, I am a traumatic brain injury survivor who has lived 40 years of life and have an amazing mindset from it all. None of this is medical advice, that is what your doctor is for or 911 if you are having an true emergency and need help right away. I am here for community and to share all I have learned, you never know who it will help. Click on the white title of the blog post to read, just saying in case you might be confused like I am with all this 🤣
