Loving Our New Living Situation

We have been living in our camper at our new home for a few weeks. Surprisingly it’s ok. We thankfully had upgraded our camper and living in it is totally doable.

Jax has a room in the house with my parents. I am able to walk up to his room and screen window and chat. He has come in and had dinner with us a few times. The dogs are incredibly happy. I kinda think my parents don’t mind having us or the dogs around. Their apartment is coming along great and hopefully will be done by the end of the summer. We have even cooked dinner a few times for my parents and plan too more in the future.

We are working on saving money, learning what it’s like to live not in town, which we are adjusting too and still have gone to town to much but that will get better. It’s hard with my kids sports and then like last night we went to dinner, our normal date night and eat out night.

We are SO glad we made this move and I hope my parents are glad they did this too. Once we all have our houses I think it will be so good for everyone. I already think it is.

Our dog waiting at the gate for her dad💚
Mac loves her pillows and used to wake up multiple times a night and no longer does. She’s too tired, she gets so much exercise at home now.
Turbo loves his walk daily to the mailbox and sometimes I can’t find him. One time he was in his dads laundry basket and I had closed the bedroom door 🤣. Oops.

All good things take time, effort, patience and hard work. This is SO worth it all.

I am a TBI Survivor and woman who has been through a lot of good and bad. My goal by this blog is to share what I have learned and how life has happened for me and not to me. I have found purpose in it all and am here to share it. I am also sober and quitting drinking was the best choice for me. I will post about TBI, Brain Injury, life, travel, lessons learned and more. I am not a doctor or a nurse, I am a traumatic brain injury survivor who has lived 40 years of life and have an amazing mindset from it all. None of this is medical advice, that is what your doctor is for or 911 if you are having an true emergency and need help right away. I am here for community and to share all I have learned, you never know who it will help. Click on the white title of the blog post to read, just saying in case you might be confused like I am with all this 🤣
