LYB Retreat

I was supposed to attend the Love Your Brain retreat over the 2 year anniversary of my TBI. But Covid canceled it.

It has been rescheduled and I will be able to go this September to Portland Maine to attend!

I am excited. I need to raise money for this organization as they do not charge to attend. I should say I get to raise money, because they do a lot of amazing things for the traumatic brain injury community. They do retreats, yoga, mindfulness and much more all to TBI survivors and their caregivers at free of charge.

I have personally organized retreats in life and I know it’s not free. There are charges everywhere. Especially providing nourishment, housing, staff and a great program to boot.

So if you feel inclined please donate to Love Your Brain and also check out their organization. They have lots of great stuff in their store and love your brain can be for anyone who wants to support a great cause and have some cool gear that shows you love your brain, it’s kinda a big deal:)

I am a TBI Survivor and woman who has been through a lot of good and bad. My goal by this blog is to share what I have learned and how life has happened for me and not to me. I have found purpose in it all and am here to share it. I am also sober and quitting drinking was the best choice for me. I will post about TBI, Brain Injury, life, travel, lessons learned and more. I am not a doctor or a nurse, I am a traumatic brain injury survivor who has lived 40 years of life and have an amazing mindset from it all. None of this is medical advice, that is what your doctor is for or 911 if you are having an true emergency and need help right away. I am here for community and to share all I have learned, you never know who it will help. Click on the white title of the blog post to read, just saying in case you might be confused like I am with all this 🤣
